A Visit Home-Marquette, MI June 07

I feel so lucky sometimes just due to the fact that the place that I grew up, the place that is "home" to me, the place that I get to revisit a few times each year, just happens to be extremely beautiful and full of amazing good hearted people..who I totally love. I remember thinking when I first spread my wings at the ripe age of 19, "This place is perfect, why am I leaving again? Oh, that's right, to go see the world..find cool places and other cool people"...In all my travels, I've seen a lot of amazing places (and soo glad I did) but honestly can't say that any of them are better than the place that I started from..just different.

Mom, Here is Livingston MT.

Tiz a cute town for sure. It was extremely hot when I drove through so I didn't stay long. I had just driven through Yellowstone (Livingston is just on the Montana side of Yellowstone). Mom has fond memories of this town from her youth.
